Offices Cleaned Weekly

Jimmy

“We like that the Challenge Commercial Cleaning team was willing to work with us on a posted weekly checklist. Anything comes up we leave it for the night crew and it’s taken care of before we return in the morning. Nice communication tool between our management staff and off-hours cleaning crew.”

Working Together With Cayuga Ridge

Challenge continues to grow its partnership with Cayuga Ridge Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, and has been a big part of the facility's efforts to add a new Sensory Room for residents.

Challenge volunteers have helped to get the room ready, but were also a big part of the fundraising effort to make the room happen. A volunteer group of individuals from Challenge spends time on Tuesdays and Thursdays helping out in the facility, and one of their jobs was to help with fundraisers, such as selling ice cream, to make the room happen.

John Eilers-Lloyd, the Director of Recreation and Volunteer Services at Cayuga Ridge, says the group from Challenge "sold a LOT of ice cream" to make the room a reality.

Challenge volunteers also help out and spend time with residents inside the new Sensory Room.

John explains in this video what the room is all about.
